2013

Well hello to you

I know 2012 was a big year for many especially for Britain with the queens diamond jubelie and all that jazz, the Olympics etc etc, for me personally it was a good year I had the best holiday I have ever had and will ever have I'm pretty sure, but I feel like coming into 2013 that it holds something good. This year I will be sitting my GCSEs have a prom and have an extra long summer holiday, turn 16, basically this year holds promise of a lot of good. The first two days have been ok, I had a lovely new years day with my family, which was lovely but today I have really only done work apart from writing this post which is not so much fun.

To make this year more memorable I would like it to be the first year I keep my new year resolutions, every other year I fail miserably. As part of that I am going to become a more frequent and better blogger. I know I have said this many times before but I am hoping that this year I can get my act together. Unlike every year I feel positive about what 2013 holds and what I can archive this year. One of my resolutions is to find the balance between work and play, I know this is a bit cheesey but with many exams this year I feel that this balance is something that will hopefully help me through this and set me up for most of my working life. 

A little longer than usual so I am sorry for that

Something that could be useful

Hello lovelies heres just a little something that I thought could be useful to you if you like makeup or just a bargain. Now i'm not sure if this is at every Superdrug but I definitely know that it isn't online but at the moment until some point in january, when you spend £6 or over at Superdrug you get the artist pallet free which is usually £6 by on it's own. This pallet contains six merge eye shadows, two blushes, one bronzer and a highlighter. I personally thought this was  good deal and just wanted to share it with you all. I hope that if you celebrated christmas you had a lovely time this year.

Spooky and creative

Hello beauties, (still trying to find a good hello)

Today I made some halloween buns, to get in the halloween mood and I am quite proud of them so I thought I would share them with you lovely people.

 

 

 

Little goshts and bats, and they were so simple to make and of course in bat bun cases. I don't think they're brilliant but they are sweet anyways, what are you doing to get into the halloween mood.

Some days are harder than others and all you want to do is curl up into a ball and cry, if you have those days which i'm sure you do I would love to know how you personally get through them. I have three ways which i will share with you and they go as follows;
1. Plough through with a smile on your face and go to bed early and just feel sorry for your self
2. Give up completly
3. Look towards somebody who has done something youn admire, this doesn't have to be someone who has climbed mount Everst, it doesn't have to be somebody well known, it could even be someone in your school or who works with you that you don't particualy. I find a person and imagin them telling me what they do and try to copy what they might do. I'm sure that person takes it out on other people sometimes but I try to imagin the best of them and the best way they get over these things.

This post isn't a deep meaningful post it is just something that I felt like writing. I have wote this quickly and so I have not checked my spelling or grammer so I aplogise for that and if I have made simple mistakes it's not me being lazy, it's just I can't spell and I usally check everyword before I write it but I don't have time for that today
If you ever read this blog, even if it's only once a year please let me know that would lift my spirts and make me smile.

New Idea

Hello lovelies,

When I started ths blog I meant to talk about DIYs and such but I lost my confidence and didn't really write anything. All I did seem to write was hauls and to be truthful that is not what I set out to do and I can't keep it up so I have recently got some confidence back and so I am going to try and do what I originally set out to d
Not many people read this so I don't really think that this will impact anyones life except mine.

Ok so the new idea is for me to basically write about things that some people many find boring and unimportant but to me make everyday slightly better than if they did not happen. In less words the little, simple things in life.

For example today I went to the corner shop and an old lady who was evidently in a rush was behind me by several people in the queue. (thrilling story so far right) I wasn't in a rush and I asked her if she would like to swap with me at first she said she was fine but I insisted and she gladly excepted. On the way out, she came up to me and told me that I had made her day and this intern made my day because I had made somebody else's day slightly better.

To me the small things in life count such as that. I'm sorry if you actually read this blog and this to you is boring, but I hope by putting this out into the world that it could either make somebodys day better or inspire someone to make some random persons day better even if it's just a smile.

I also hope to give ideas for things such as cakes or partys ect I hope you will like the new idea!

Haul

Hello beautiful people,
This haul is from New Look, Miss Sporty, Monsoon, Laura Ashley, Republic and Shared earth but don't give up on me yet, what I have bought is actually nice, not clothes for old people or something along those lines. Be warned though most of these things I bought in the sale so I can't be sure if there will be any others.

Okay so up first is New Look, I didn't mean to buy anything but some things just caught my eye.

This hot pink skater dress caught my eye, reduced from £14.99 to just £7, I thought was quite a bargin, teamed with a little coloured belt and some cute shoes this will be just perfect for this summer.

Next.......

These super sweet little ballet flats were only £9.99. I absolutly adore them. The nude colour means that they will match with anything and everything, the cut out pattern means they are diffrent but at the same time cute.

The last thing from New Look.........

These wedges were only £10 in the sale which was a good price to pay for them. I feel that these will be really useful as in summer you need a pair of heels that you can walk around in for a while and for me wedges are really ideal. The brown colour will also go with many of my clothes. A good perchase I feel.

Next up is Miss Sporty,

I bought two nail varnishes in Superdrug which sells Miss Sporty each of these nail varnishes cost £1.99, the colours do not have names but I do realy like the colours and for holiday these are perfect because I won't be too worried about leaving them somewhere.

I also bought.......

I bought a little lipstick as well in shade 54  (such an imaginative name) this is in a darkish pinky red which will also be good for holiday as it was only £2.59 so again I won't die if I lose it but it is a really lovely colour.

Next is Monsoon

This cardigen was £38 and maybe that is a ittle pricy but it is just what I have been looking for and I don't mind paying a little extra in monsoon becasue I know that they do is really important. 

Then I got.......

A beautiful maxi dress this was in the sale and was £20 from £69 I good saving I think. The pattern as well is unsual but I love it.

Finally I got.......

An oversized white Linen shirt which at £20 was half price. I ahve been looking for one of these for a long time but have never found one that was perfect but now I have found it and it makes me smile. This will be perfect for almost anything, it could be posh or even beach wear, the possibilites are endless. Perfect for holidays.

Now for Laura Ashley, I only bought one thing from here and it isn't for summer but it was there and it is exactly what I have always wanted.

Now in the picture the coat looks a bit of gross colour but it is infact a lovely willow green and was reduced from £125 to £62 which is amazing in my book, it's not everyones cup of tea but I LOVE IT. Anyway now at least i'm all set for winter.

Last but not least for clothes.........

This pretty little cream spotty skirt from republic was £10 and it's soooooooo cute.

Thats it for clothes but I did buy some very lovely earings from Shared earth heres a little picture.

These are just so beautiful and were only £2.99 a real bargin.

Yodes all,

I'm actually so sorry, I said I would be a better blogger and well I really honestly did mean to but I just didn't have the time, there were exams, an injury, friendship things and a whole lot of stress, so i'm sorry!

Well if i'm allowed to turn over a new leaf, I will be blog more now beacuse i'm on HOLIDAY! I've got many many exciting things that I am going to do and I will tell all you lovelies about them and  show you them!!!!

In other news, my friend has a friend over from France who is lovely who I have only met once before. I always think that it is really nice to meet somebody new or who you have only met once. As well my beautiful friend Mary is moving to New Zeland which makes me sad (very sad).

Hello beautiful people I hope you are all wonderfully well.

Yesterday I went shopping for my  friends birthday but ended buying things for me instead. I thought I would just show you what I bought. These are not exciting things but just useful things for summer.

(yes this is the first time i have put pictures on so it is exciting for me)

This casual t-shirt is from Ark, a shop I absolutly LOVE. It was in the sale so it wasn't to expensive, only £5. The picture quality isn't that good but it is a lovely mint green colour and jst perfect to trown on with a pair of shorts to make them look summery.

Ok so this T-shirt looks like a normal tank top but it has buttons all the way down the back. Again not very exciting to buy a white t-shirt but the buttons down the back give it a little twist. This was from newlook and was £5.99.

This t-shirt is just soooo cool I LOVE IT! Yes however this is a mans t-shirt but it's sooooo cool i couldn't resist. Thsi t-shirt was £8 because it was in the sale. It is from topman and i must ay that they have some very cool t-shirts in there, I would go look.

 This necklace is one that i have wanted to buy for ages. It is just so cute. The sparkles on the dress are the prettiest things ever. I bought this from accessorize for £6 but i would have paid much more.

Halloween

Don't get me wrong I love Halloween but this year it's on monday and I have a stress because I never know if people will come today and tomorrow or just tomorrow it's very annoying.
Anyway this year I am going tick and treating and this really worries me because I feel really rude just asking for sweets I would prefer to say 'hello i've come to show you my outfit if you ythink it is quite good it wold be nice to give me some sweets if not thank you for your time.' Obviously it would be stupid to say that because it is way too long but it would be alot nicer. I shall tell you how it goes and what I wore.
I might also make some halloween if I do you could be lucky enough to give you a picture, thats if I can figure out how to do it.
I'm sorry my blog dosen't give you any information like what thing to buy or any top tips.

Northumberland

I love Northumberland and I went there recently (I got back two days ago). Ok so I stayed with a few family friends in a holiday cottage just outside Seahouses with a lovely sea view. The things I did on the holiday were quite boring but I enjoyed them it it's ok.  I did alot of walking and climbing up and down sand dunes which I have to say is sooooooooooooooooo fun its almost not even true.
I think that its really pretty up there in Northumberland really beautiful but it rains quite alot though.
One not so god thing happend was that everyones wellies leaked bad times!!!!!!!!

If anyone ever visites Northumberland you must go to Beadnell beach and climb up the sand dunes and then run down them it is truly the funest (not sure if that is a word) thing to do ever!

Ok so on wednesday I woke up and walked the dog in the RAIN which was NOT fun. Anyway when I came back and desided to watch the devil wears prada with some strawberries it was like heaven.

A day off

Ok so it's mid week and I have got a day off, don't you just love the feeling, sitting watching your favourite movie with some ice cream and choclate. First thingy

Hello this my first ever blog so i'm sorry if you really hate it. I'm very excited to enter the world of blogging and if get get it wrong i'm sorry!
